I TAUGHT FOR DECADES BEFORE
I learned the art of rest.
Burnout was a wake-up call I couldn’t ignore.
For years, I couldn’t make sense of the way I felt.
i was anxious and running on empty—until my body’s whispers became impossible to ignore. I kept trying to push through—until my body said no.
That disruption became my turning point.
I was living with autoimmune symptoms, chronic back pain, and nervous system overwhelm that I couldn’t outwork or outthink. And while I’ve overcome much of it, healing hasn’t been a straight line—it’s a spiral. These patterns still return from time to time. But now I meet them differently.
Yoga Nidra is what helped me learn how.
Not by fixing, forcing, or striving. But by resting. By tuning in. By remembering that I already hold the answers inside.
This practice has become my anchor. It helps me reset when old loops resurface.
It softens the edges, soothes the nervous system, and brings clarity back online.
It reminds me that rest isn’t a reward—it’s the rhythm that makes everything else possible.
That’s what sparked the vision for Nidra Babes:
A space for women who carry a lot to release, recalibrate, and reclaim their energy through deep rest and radical presence.
Since then, I’ve gone on to create:
FLOOP, a playful nervous system support routine for children,
Rest Fest, a celebration of music, movement, and meditative rest,
And a growing community of women who are rewriting what it means to thrive.
My work is rooted in lived experience, trauma-awareness, and heart-led curiosity.
And I’m still walking the path.
Not “perfectly.” But honestly.
With grace, compassion, and with rest as my guide.
